Account Status

When Instagram needed to give transparency and remediation options for its enforcements on users’ accounts, I collaborated with my team to solve the most challenging problem we had ever encountered.

 

After UXR, in-app surveys, creator panels, data science, stop-gap designs, working with policy to simplify the language, we finally stuck the landing.

The result was Account Status, a central hub, where users can take action on any enforcements on their account, and learn about the guidelines that govern their Instagram experience.
